More than three years of its last episode, it seems that the world cannot still forget the disastrous end of Game of Thrones . With the premiere of _house of the dragon, hBO prequel, just one month away, the conversion about the television adaptation of a Song of Ice and Fire has returned, and this time it has been George R.R. Martin, author of these books, who has pointed out the problem with the toxic fans of _game of thrones.

During a talk with The Hollywood Reporter, Martin talked about how the toxic community of game of Thrones is affecting the house of the dragon, even when this series is not yet released . This was what he said about it:

The damn toxic Internet and these podcasts that say that season 8 left such a bad impression that people say:‘ Oh, I will never see them again. I no longer trust them.

Along with this, Casey Bloys, HBO content manager, also joined the conversation , and in the same interview he commented:

It was a negative reaction in social networks. I think that in multiple parts of our society, we remind ourselves that Twitter is not real life. We knew that it was going to be divisive and, of course, you want all fans to be happy, but that will never happen.

There were not many people walking or upset. It is a shot that reads well, but probably does not completely reflect the feelings of the viewer.

Recall that the last episodes of the eighth season of Game of Thrones were criticized for ruining the princes characters, ending the story in an abrupt way and forgetting several important points in history. In this way, some people were so disappointed that they don’t want to see house of the dragon .
